New Spring Arrivals!

Sure, it may still be cold and raining outside, but that doesn't stop us from dreaming! Spring is just around the corner and we could not be more ready! This week we got our brand new spring collection by Eric Micheal, and they have us antsy to pull out our white jeans and pretty florals and put them to good use! We put together some cute springtime outfits to help us fuel our daydream!
Preppy Spring

We think that the Eric Michael Sadie in melon goes fabulously with a Kate Spade inspired outfit. The white jeans and structured geometric bag keeps this look polished, whereas the chambray shirt keeps the outfit casual. For weekend shopping or casual Friday at work, you're sure to turn heads.

Boho Spring

We used the Eric Michael Ginger in a fun and breezy boho-inspired outfit. We love how the raw-edges of the shoe are reflected in both the bracelets and the very trendy fringe on the bag. Still chilly? Throw on some tights and a brown leather jacket or a chunky-knit cardigan to wear this from March through September!

Laid-back Spring

Some days just aren't for stilettos. On those days, throw on the super-comfy cork based Izzi with some boyfriend jeans, an oversize sweater, and and some sunnies. Sling your wallet and some keys into a beachy tote, and you're out the door, looking chic, in 10 minutes flat. Style nirvana achieved.

Check out some other styles from the collection! We'll keep updating as we get more online!

Go-Go in Gomax!

You know, I love me a fancy shoe. I really do. I love the smell of the new leather. I love the joy of trying on my new shoes with different outfits while listening to ridiculously girly music. I love the jealousy in my friend's eyes when they realize that their footwear collection is no match to mine, and that I am cooler, smarter, and clearly more awesome than they are. (Wink!)BUT, there is no need to invest in shoes that you know you are going to wreck. I mean, it's smart to buy inexpensive sunglasses to take on your camping trips, because lord knows that you'd probably lose your expensive Prada sunglasses while quading through the woods in a bikini. Would you bring expensive sandals with you on that same camping trip? Do you really want to hose down your favorite summer shoes? Probably not, and that's why we like to keep fun, inexpensive sandals in stock that you won't feel guilty wearing to death. Gomax makes adorable, non-leather sandals for $29 that can be worn with just about anything. They are casual enough to wear with a tank top and shorts, yet nice enough to wear with a cute little summer dress. During the warmer months I typically wear flip flops that are no ifs, ands, or buts, casual. That being said, it's nice to have a sandal on hand that can make any outfit not too casual.

Pick up a pair before they're gone. Not many can pass up a cute sandal for $29, so they'll go quickly!

The News At Village Shoes

It's getting springy here at Village Shoes! We're beginning to get new Spring inventory in, and starting to do more markdowns of leftover Fall inventory. Thus far, we've received new shoe merchandise from Eric Michael, John Fluevog, Chocolate Negro, Encanto, OTBT, Worishofer, and Corso Como, oh, and of course, Fidji. At this point, we expect to have new items delivered almost daily, so if you don't see what you're looking for yet, there's plenty more to come!

New Leaders In Leather!

We beefed up our Fluevog collection for all of you fanatics out there! (Heller, Halle!)

If you come into Village Shoes and don't see anymore M. Cummings necklaces (or me), it's because I stole them all and am occupying a cell at our county jail.

I also will be prosecuted for stealing all size 36's of our new Chocolate Negro.
